Core concepts
Eryx organizes work into projects, runs, and leads. This page ties those pieces together before you dive into the Quickstart or Leads & CRM guides.
Projects
A project is your workspace for one ICP (ideal customer profile) or campaign. You define niche, keywords, and sources (platforms where Eryx searches). Project settings influence how discovery and enrichment runs are configured.
For a walkthrough of every project form field (platforms, queries, AI model, and more), see Project setup.
Runs and pipelines
A run is a single execution of a workflow against a project. Progress appears on the project and under Runs. Each run uses one pipeline:
| Pipeline | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Lead discovery | Search configured sources, score candidates, and create or update leads for the project. |
| Enrichment & outreach | Take selected leads from the project, enrich them (signals, drafts, channels, etc.), and drive outreach-ready output. You choose which leads to include before starting this run. |
Older or imported data may show runs without an explicit pipeline label; those behave like lead discovery by default.
Workflow on the project page
The in-app workflow block is a guided path:
- Run lead discovery at least once so the project has leads.
- Select leads (manually, quick presets, or “latest batch” when offered).
- Run enrichment & outreach on that selection.
Runs history still lists every execution; the workflow only highlights the usual order for going from empty project to enriched, outreach-ready leads.
Leads and scoring
A lead is a discovered profile Eryx evaluated as worth following up with. Scoring and qualification happen during the pipeline so you can focus on outreach-ready prospects. Use Leads & CRM for list behaviour, filters, CRM statuses versus outreach channels, and the manual email queue.
Discovery, enrichment, and outreach (typical flow)
- Discovery — find candidates matching your project’s ICP and sources (lead discovery run).
- Selection — narrow to the subset you want to process next.
- Enrichment — add context (channels, signals, drafts) (enrichment & outreach run).
- Outreach (optional) — send through connected channels; see Integrations.
