1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Eryx uses cookies and similar browser technologies on the public website, authentication pages, and application.
2. Essential cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies required to operate core account and security features.
- Session cookies used to keep authenticated users signed in.
- Security-related cookies or tokens used for CSRF protection and request validation.
- Operational cookies used to maintain basic site or interface state where needed.
Disabling these technologies may prevent login, billing actions, or other important parts of the service from working.
3. Preference storage
We also use browser storage to remember product and interface preferences, such as table settings, saved views, or sidebar state. Some of this storage may use localStorage rather than cookies, but it serves a similar operational purpose.
4. Analytics (PostHog)
Where PostHog is configured, we load its client SDK to measure product usage. We send page views on route changes, may record when you leave a page, and record named product events such as signup steps, pricing or paywall views, checkout actions, and related funnel events. Autocapture of arbitrary clicks is disabled in our configuration; person profiles are created for identified users when analytics runs.
PostHog may use cookies or local storage to distinguish sessions and tie events to a profile. See PostHog’s documentation for details.
5. Diagnostics and session replay (Sentry)
Where Sentry is configured, it collects error reports and performance data. On the web client we may enable Session Replay for a sample of sessions and for sessions that hit an error, with text masking and media blocking to reduce sensitive content in recordings.
Sentry may rely on cookies or similar storage as part of its browser SDK.
6. Third-party services
Payment, authentication, and optional integration providers (for example Stripe checkout, Google or Microsoft mail OAuth, or social login) may set or rely on their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their hosted pages or flows. Their practices are governed by their own policies.
7. Managing cookies
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. You may also clear local browser storage from your device. Blocking essential cookies may cause parts of the website or application to stop functioning properly.
8. More information
